Creative Director

As Creative Director, Jim Rodgers is responsible for coordinating the OMIX design team to determine and satisfy the creative requirements of our clients. Jim guides and reviews the work through all phases of a design project in order to assure that the quality meets or surpasses client expectations.

Prior to joining OMIX, Jim was Design Director at KTVU FOX 2 (San Francisco broadcast market), where he worked for over 20 years. He has received five Emmy awards, and has been recognized internationally for his award-winning broadcast design, animation design and corporate image development.

Jim brings a rich background of experiences to his position at OMIX, including his work on large projects for clients such as Silicon Graphics, Hewlett-Packard, RCN Television, Discovery Pictures, The Grateful Dead and actress/singer Cher.

He has served on the Board of Directors for the International Broadcast Designers' Association for four years, participating in international seminars and conferences on graphic design. In 1996, Jim was invited to create a curriculum and teach television design to colleagues in the former Soviet Union and Jerusalem. He has continued to work with Ukrainians to develop and produce television public awareness campaigns on social issues affecting the former Soviet Union.

With his extensive multimedia background, Jim is able to produce creative designs for our clients as advanced as the technical solutions that we offer, ever pushing the envelope of what is possible.

Jim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from San Jose State University.
